Mindscape | Mindscape, one of the UK's leading software publishers and distributors is pleased to announce the release of Omar Sharif 3D Bridge, a brand new game for the PC. Omar Sharif 3D Bridge, which is developed by AI Factory and to be published by Mindscape, is due to be released on the 22nd April 2005 with a suggested selling price of £9.99.
Omar Sharif 3D Bridge offers a brand new angle on the game of bridge, where players can try their hand at playing in the 3D virtual world! This product pushes out the boundaries of Computer Bridge, providing competition class Bridge play within a lush 3D environment. Players are no longer limited to a flat game interface, but can enter a world with the look and feel of a real Bridge-playing world, against both a variety of AI and human Bridge players. Watch as the light inside and outside the playing room changes with the real world! The clocks show the real time and the lighting can be adjusted according to individual mood.
When players begin, they will be able to choose from the Bridge players available in the home. These will be of weaker or medium strength. As they develop against these players and start winning games, they will earn an invitation to join the club. There they meet a stronger class of player and will have the opportunity to partner Omar Sharif. He is the highest rank partner in the game, so if the game is lost with him, you know that it is not his fault! As players progress they will earn an invite to the Club Championship. This is harder but, if players are made of the right stuff, their wins will earn them the right to play in the World Professional Bridge Tournament, again with Omar Sharif as their partner.
In the tournament players will face the strongest opponents who will test to see just how good they are! This time an audience watches the game. The opportunity must be taken to press home any advantage and finally take home the World Bridge Tournament Trophy!
In Omar Sharif 3D Bridge a variety of players of different strengths and styles are available to play partner and play against. In the home environment players start with the beginners who have varying styles. In the club, many more players appear, each (again) with their own style of play. Omar Sharif will partner players in their matches (if they wish!). By the time players get past the club, they will have met over 30 players. Beyond that comes the tournament room, offering over 70 opponents in total! These will be the best that Omar Sharif 3D Bridge has to offer.
