Paderborn, Germany, 15th February 2024: Great news for ON THE ROAD - The Truck Simulator players today, as developers tox² interactive and publishers Aerosoft have released a massive free update for the title, already playable on PC as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4 & Playstation 5 and purchasable here!

This comprehensive update introduces a range of brand new features aimed at enhancing the already immersive trucking experience, adding new layers of realism to the title, including better route planning, refueling options, AI employees, and more.

Here’s all that’s coming to the game today:

Refueling System: Players can now access even more refueling options with the addition of fuel trucks and trailers, ensuring you never run out of gas on your journeys.
AI Employee Costs: AI employees now incur fuel costs, adding a dynamic element to the game's economic simulation.
Weekly Salaries: AI employees now receive weekly salaries, with payment displayed conveniently in the on-screen navigation system, providing you with greater financial insight and management options.
Transport of Livestock: The update introduces the transportation of cows, expanding the range of cargo options and challenges for players, which has been much requested by fans until now.
Trailer Storage: Trailers can now be stored in the five parking spaces available in the shelter at the company headquarters, offering players improved organization and management of their fleet.
Enhanced Route Planning: Players can now select start and destination points directly within the route planning window, streamlining navigation and logistics.
Load Limitation: In addition to weight, loads are now limited by base area, adding a new layer of realism and challenge to cargo management.
Customizable Controller Vibration: The update introduces adjustable vibration settings for controllers, allowing players to fine-tune their experience to their preferences, with reactions to engine activity, accidents, and road conditions.
