FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Toronto, Canada - November 23, 2005 - DreamCatcher Games first person shooter, Painkiller, was the game which determined the champion at the Cyberathelete Professional League (CPL) World Tour Finals in New York City.

Thirty-two professional gamers from around the world battled through a series of elimination rounds with the final two competing for $250,000 in prizes, the largest gaming purse in competitive gaming history. In the thrilling finals, Fatal1ty (Johnathan Wendel) defeated fnatic.Vo0 (Sander Kaasjager) in Painkiller to capture the title.

DreamCatcher Games will be releasing the Xbox version, Painkiller: Hell Wars in February 2006.

MTV will broadcast the television special "From Gamer to Fame: The CPL World Tour Finals" on Saturday, November 26 at 8pm (ET/PT)
