TL;DR: Our game Paws and Leaves – A Last Tale, an emotional journey of a young fox between life and death, will launch its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter on November 6. With unique gameplay, player keepsakes and a touching story, we’re excited to have your support!
Dear Editorial Team,
My name is Florian Haase, founder of the indie studio grownarts and I’d like to introduce you to our project Paws and Leaves – A Last Tale. The game will launch its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.com on November 6 to raise funds for the production phase.
In Paws and Leaves, players take on the role of a young fox on his final journey. Alongside his companion, a charming butterfly named Ani, players experience an emotional story with unique gameplay elements like fishing for memories atop an ancient turtle or collecting personal keepsakes from the “real” world.
The game offers:
A touching story with light horror elements that explores the fox’s last moments.
Breathtaking open-world zones in various seasons, inviting players to explore and collect memories.
The chance for players to immortalize their own keepsakes in the game through messages, pictures, or videos.
Paws and Leaves has already received multiple awards, including the Ubisoft Newcomer Award (2022) and a nomination for Best Concept at the German Dev Days. More information about our game and planned features can be found in our press kit at https://grownarts.com/presskit/, where you’ll also find the press release from October 12 in both German and English.
We would be thrilled if you could support our launch on November 6 and consider presenting the project to your readers and communities.
