I-play | GDC, San Francisco, CA, & London, UK - 8th March 2005: Digital Bridges, a world leader in the creation and distribution of mobile entertainment solutions, today announced the launch of Pink PantherTM in Rare Pink, a new mobile game title available on leading mobile network operators and online portals across Europe and North America. The title is part of a licensing agreement with MGM Interactive, a unit of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc.

In Pink PantherTM in Rare Pink, players take on the role of everyone's favourite feline cartoon character, the Pink Panther. The objective is to race through four gaming environments and a total of eight levels, trying to catch the world's most priceless butterfly, the 'Rare Pink,' before "The Man" does, avoiding multiple hazards along the way. Players can collect power-ups and weapons to give themselves the edge over their opponent. In addition to opening with the iconic Pink Panther theme tune, the game features stunning graphics that faithfully recreate the look of the original cartoon series.

The much-loved Pink Panther cartoon franchise recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, and the celebrations continue in 2005 in the run-up to the new MGM Pink Panther feature film. Pink PantherTM in Rare Pink is the fourth title based on an MGM property that Digital Bridges has launched, following hot on the heels of RobocopTM, PlatoonTM and RollerballTM which all launched in early 2005.

Paul Maglione, Senior Vice President of Publishing and Marketing for Digital Bridges said: "We're excited to be a trusted partner of MGM Interactive, we're very pleased with how well our new game captures the look and feel of the original cartoon character, and very happy to be able to help Pink celebrate his 40th year as a unique entertainment franchise loved around the world."

"Our entrance into the mobile gaming market is strengthened by our relationship with Digital Bridges," added Neil Haldar, Vice President, Production and Business Development, MGM Interactive. "As MGM Interactive leverages opportunities with the mobile platform, our war chest of film library titles continues to increase in value."
