Popular My Cat Box Roblox Title Gets Cat Washing Update, Improved Clothing, and More Added to Their Game.

My Cat Box, created in November of 2019, has seen over 5.2 million visits on Roblox, and now has an update that aims to give the cats more personality and allow players to dress in new outfits.

Tela Viva, Israel - December 2nd, 2020 - My Cat Box is a simulation type game within Roblox, where players are tasked with collecting items to give to giant cats who they have quests with. These items are spread over a few different, themed areas, including an Egyptian area and a Farming area. 

Over time, players can unlock various gift boxes that give them different cats. There are over 100 pet cats for players to enjoy. They can then equip a limited number of these cats to help them collect items. They meow as they chase the player and players can interact with trampolines so that the cats can have some fun.

Before now, these cats did not have personality and needs, but now, Toya has added the ability for the cat’s to get dirty and a “car wash” inspired Cat Wash so that the dirt and mud can be cleaned off. Cats can end up with a variety of different muddy patterns when they run around the level behind their owners, requiring them to then be cleaned. Players are then rewarded with in-game currency when they wash their pets. Various areas of the world can cause cats to become more muddy than others.

Cats need to be collected so that they can open up new areas and unlock new quest cats. Dotted around the various levels in My Cat Box are different stores that have various themed items for players to purchase with in-game currency. These in-game items have now been updated to feature more goth and steampunk backpacks, hats, items and more to better help players express themselves. There are currently a large number of cute accessories to choose from and put on. 

My Cat Box also features an Obby (obstacle course) area of the game, which can be found through a portal in the Egypt area. This part of the world turns the player into one of their cats and allows them to attempt an Egyptian obstacle course as a cat themselves.
