Two new powers join the game’s unique tarot-inspired “Whispers” system - the dark heart of Harvest Hunt that tasks you with crafting your defence from a constantly resetting deck of debilitating calamities and, sometimes, blessings. Vigor Drain ensures you’re always on the front foot as health depletes with every passing second, and No Exit guarantees you’ll be trapped fending for your life unless you can find a key and unlock your way out. Gulp.
 
And don’t feel constrained by your usual armoury - equip a brand new tool, the Repellent. A shrunken skull with bulging eyes, it’s time to get ahead (pun intended) as this bizarre talisman can protect you from a single Devourer attack. Of course, your rusted old favourites make a return, with classic tools sporting creepy new cosmetic skins. You can even inspect your tools at any time in-game with bespoke animations created for every single one!
 
But how to unlock them? Trick or treat yourself to our fiendish new challenge mode, delivering a weekly bounty of three objectives - ominously dubbed “Rites” - to overcome. Reap the rewards of a successful harvest and you’ll earn tokens to snatch the skins for yourself. Be sure to check back each week because who knows what tantalising new goodies might await?
 
So beware, O Warden - as always in the forsaken lands of Luna Nova, the Devourer is watching your every move, and this time, it’s dressed for Halloween…
