Silicon Kiwi :

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Zealand, NOVEMBER 08, 2024 – Silicon Kiwi has released a major update for Robot Trivia Funtime, moving out of early access into a full Steam release. The update introduces some final fixes and changes, building upon 6 months of updates and feature additions. Silicon Kiwi has also retired the demo version of the game to focus on further developing the Windows and Linux clients, and stated they are looking forward to the next step.

“Over the last six months we’ve enjoyed the valuable process of having Robot Trivia Funtime in early access, but the game has reached a full release state.

“We will continue to add features and shape the game and look forward to releasing our next update, with an aim to reach more casual trivia fans.”

Robot Trivia Funtime is a multiplayer trivia game for PC, with a built-in question pack editor and Workshop support. Players can create lobbies with up to 6 players online and add bots with different “personalities.” Players can also download and create question packs for custom games. In October, Robot Trivia Funtime was included in the Made in New Zealand 2024 event on Steam, organised by the New Zealand Game Developers Association.

Robot Trivia Funtime was first released in May, with the Linux client following shortly after. Silicon Kiwi also develops Woodrow the Old Piano, a novelty 3D instrument available on Steam.
