Silicon Kiwi :
New Zealand, MAY 10, 2024 – Indie developer Silicon Kiwi has released Robot Trivia Funtime on Steam. The game offers multiplayer trivia with built-in editing tools, targeting casual gamers who use Valve’s Steam marketplace and community.
Silicon Kiwi hopes to appeal to players who are interested in writing their own questions and having freedom to play custom quizzes with their friends, taking advantage of the workshop platform on Steam to share content.
“Many trivia games lock questions behind DLC packs and impose limitations on the player. We’re providing our own question packs in the game, but we also want to give players the tools to create and let them have fun with it.”
Robot Trivia Funtime was released yesterday on Steam for PC. It brings a number of features:
Support for up to 6 players in matchmade lobbies
Several hundred questions built-in, each with 6 options
Built-in question editor for writing and packaging questions
Steam Workshop support for sharing and download custom packs
A cute robot theme set in a peaceful, colorful environment
The ability to customize what questions are in the game
The game is current in Early Access, meaning it will see continued development, with a focus on player customization options.
Last year, Silicon Kiwi debuted with Woodrow The Old Piano, an unusual 3D virtual instrument and MIDI toy modelled on a distressed piano. This title is also available on Steam.
