Cologne, Germany – October 9, 2024 – Independent development studio Nurogames is announcing that Rune Bender VR, a fast-paced single-player rogue-like VR Wave-Shooter, is available on Steam since September 20, 2024.
Rune Bender VR is an immersive game where players, as shamans, defend Veles' shrine from mythological creatures using elemental rune casting. Players draw runes to cast spells based on fire, water, earth, and air, utilizing intuitive mechanics that are easy to learn but difficult to master.
With 16 unlockable spells and over 20 upgrades, players adapt strategies for unique runs. The game features a 15-wave Story Mode and an Endless Mode for leaderboard competition, ensuring an engaging experience.
Each run presents increasing difficulty, allowing players to improve after every attempt. Rune Bender VR combines accessible mechanics with evolving gameplay, making each playthrough a fresh challenge.
