After many months of preparation, the final version of Escape Tales: The Awakening, the digital adaptation of the best-selling card game under the same title, launched on Steam for $7.99! During the October edition of Steam Next Fest, from October 14 until October 20, 2024, the game demo was available for the audience to play and take a sneak peek at the expanded first location. In the full version of the game, the players will have as many as 8 locations with unique atmospheres to explore, over 20 different puzzles to solve, and more than 30 items to collect and use. Let’s not forget about the 9 different endings that the game may reveal - each depending on the choices the player makes throughout the game. Get ready for an escape room game that will keep players at the edge of the seat from the very beginning!

In Escape Tales: The Awakening, the player takes on the role of Sam, a man whose wife passed away a few years ago and whose daughter unexpectedly went into a mysterious coma with no clear cause. Sam must remain completely calm and battle against forces he has never faced before. Between the doctors claiming that there is no medical cause why his daughter has fallen sick and the man who hands him an odd-looking book under the name "The Book of Rituals," claiming it has the ability to awaken his beloved daughter from what feels like eternal slumber.

The game tells a gripping tale of loss, atonement, and the ghosts of a previous life. It provides an open exploration, multiple endings, an unforgettable puzzle experience, and a deeply narrative story. The player’s ability to solve problems will be tested at all times, and their moral compass will be called into question. Since the game’s options and puzzles can be difficult, there are no time limits, so the player is free to take as much time as they need to make their choice.
