SEGA CELEBRATES LIKE A DRAGON FRANCHISE WITH AMAZON SALE, PRIME VIDEO SHOW PREMIERE, AND YAKUZA KIWAMI LAUNCH ON NINTENDO SWITCH

IRVINE, CA - Oct. 23, 2024 – SEGA of America and Ryu Ga Gotoku studio are giving Like a Dragon & Yakuza fans several reasons to celebrate the beloved franchise this week from an exclusive sale with deep discounts to series’ first release on Nintendo Switch, all kicking off on October 24, 2024.

From October 24 through November 7, 2024, SEGA will be hosting an Amazon Like a Dragon & Yakuza Franchise sale (US only) in celebration of the upcoming release of the Amazon Original series Like a Dragon: Yakuza. With discounts of up to 60% off select titles, gamers can jump into several entries in the iconic series including this year’s acclaimed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth™. Fans worldwide can watch the Amazon Original live-action series Like a Dragon: Yakuza when it releases this week. Directed by the critically acclaimed Masaharu Take, the series will feature Ryoma Takeuchi as the lead character, Kazuma Kiryu, in an original story based on RGG’s Like a Dragon & Yakuza franchise. The first three episodes of Like a Dragon: Yakuza will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories starting on Thursday, October 24, 2024, with the next three episodes available on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

The Yakuza series heads to the Nintendo Switch for the first time when Yakuza Kiwami launches on October 24, 2024. Players can experience the legendary rise of protagonist Kazuma Kiryu in the epic beat ‘em up adventure that started the iconic series and inspired the live-action show. The game will be available for purchase from the Nintendo eShop for $19.99 (USD).
