London, UK - 5th October, 2005: I-play, the mobile games company, today announced that Skipping Stone, the most compulsive 'one thumb play' title, launching around the world this month, was voted "Best Mobile Game" at the recent Mobile Choice (Consumer) Awards in London.

I-play has not only brought this game to global audience of over one billion people, but it is re-defining mobile gaming by putting the mass-market audience at the center of its gaming ethos. Skipping Stone uniquely has something to offer hardcore videogames players and novice game players alike, in the form of instant accessibility game play, quirky graphics, and an overwhelmingly compulsive fun-factor.

The game, developed for I-play by Gamevil of Korea, beat all other contenders to become the consumers' favourite as determined by Mobile Choice, and looks set to become the first game specifically developed for mobile phones to enjoy worldwide sales and critical success. Mobile Choice chose Skipping Stone for "Best Mobile Game" for its simplicity and game playability: "Forget ultra-rich graphics and complicated game play, the winning game here is simple enough to work perfectly on a mobile phone and addictive enough to keep you coming back for more."

10/10 Mobile Choice

"Skipping Stone is a genius game. It's fun, quirky and so simple that your mother could play it."

9.0 / 10 IGN Wireless

"If you don't smile while playing Skipping Stone, you must be dead on the inside..

..This is not just pure gaming, it's pure entertainment, and it deserves to be enjoyed by everybody."

David Gosen, COO, I-play commented: "We are incredibly excited that Skipping Stone has received this recognition from Mobile Choice. This game is the very definition of "pick up and play", with the distinction that once you pick it up, you can't put it down. This is one stone that will be skipping for a long time."
