Cape Town, February 22, 2024: Rampage through the human settlements, destroy everything in your path. SMASH BEAR is an upcoming action roguelike that emphasizes destruction and fast-paced action. Smash Bear is a short single-player 'one more run' type experience, think Ape Out with destruction, and permadeath.

  Key features:
  Short, action-packed, randomly generated runs.

  Smash Bear runs are short high-intensity sessions designed to get you into a zen-like state for 10 minutes or however many runs you take.
  Destructible environments. Smash your way through anything.
  Power-ups. Get power-ups that change up gameplay: speed, invulnerability, smash-on-touch, and more.
  Difficult. The game is hard, you have a small amount of lives to begin with and only a few ways to get your health back. The difficulty is knowledge and skill-based, so as you learn the mechanics and enemies it will become easier.
  High scores and leaderboards. Beat your high score, or challenge other players or friends on the Steam leaderboards.
  Different bears with different play styles. Different bears give you different ways to play.
  About Greg Austin & Sybersyn Greg Austin is a game developer based in Cape Town, his previous project was a survivors-like auto battler called Battle Grid. Sybersyn also did the Soundtrack for Battle Grid and is an up-and-coming musician.
