SMITE 2’s new update adds two SMITE Gods to the sequel

Alpharetta, USA - October 17, 2024 - Titan Forge Games has released a new update for SMITE 2's Closed Alpha, introducing two new gods, Hercules and Danzaburou, and bringing Quality of Life improvements. This marks the third big update for the 24/7 Alpha stage.

Danzaburou comes from Japanese folklore. He is a mischievous tanuki from Sado Island, renowned for his shape-shifting tricks and clever pranks, feared by both mortals and gods. In SMITE 2, Danzaburou’s abilities let players lure their enemies into traps and deal heavy damage from a distance. His playstyle suits those who prefer hit-and-run tactics and manipulating the battlefield.
 
Hercules is a Roman demigod, son of Jupiter, renowned for completing twelve impossible heroic deeds. In SMITE 2, Hercules thrives in the thick of combat, using his brute strength and healing abilities to stay alive while disrupting enemies with his powerful crowd control.

Apart from the new Gods, SMITE 2 also received a big Quality of Life update as the game is heading towards its free-to-play launch next year. Players curious to learn the latest SMITE 2 news and chat with the developers should not miss Titan Talks streams. They are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1pm ET on the game’s official Twitch channel.
