October 31, 2024 - Dreamcube Studio, the team behind the open-world survival game Miraibo GO, is excited to announce that the first season of Miraibo GO’s post-launch content is live in time for the spookiest day of the year. Named ‘Abyssal Souls,’ the event tells the story of an ancient evil descending on the world of Miraibo GO and features a host of new Miras to battle and collect, parallel worlds to explore, and gameplay mechanics to master. Check out the ‘Abyssal Souls’ trailer here and download the game for free.
‘Abyssal Souls’ introduces limited-time parallel worlds into the game, which are different from the regular world where Miraibo GO’s action takes place. Called ‘Season Worlds,’ entering them is only possible through a temporal rift that will appear in the lobby. The rift will only be open for a set period of time, and when players arrive in the ‘Season World,’ they will discover new Miras, gameplay features, and items exclusive to that world. After a season ends, players receive seasonal rewards based on their progression during the season. These can be used in the main worlds.
It’s through these ‘Season Worlds’ that Miraibo GO gets a dark twist. In ‘Abyssal Souls’ players must prepare to battle against the legendary ‘Annihilator’ Mira, which has invaded Miraibo GO’s world with an army of dark minions following it. Spoken only in stories and myths, the arrival of the ‘Annihilator’ is said to foretell unspeakable disaster and destruction. This is now a very real threat that has emerged from the darkest abyss, ready to take on anyone standing in its way.
Seasonal Worlds feature entirely new rules and character progression systems. In addition to the darker storyline, the ‘Abyssal Souls’ update also brings a new level of challenge to Miraibo GO. In ‘Abyssal Souls’ the progression system has been revamped, with levels no longer granting attribute points but providing a modest health boost. A new "Soul" system enables players to allocate points into powerful stat bonuses instead.
Finally, there is a new PvP Arena to explore on a mysterious island created in the wake of the Annihilator’s arrival. As night falls, the island's four corners come alive with dark powers, offering rewards for those who can overcome the challenges it presents. On this island, PvP battles are a free-for-all, and defeated players will lose their ‘Souls.’ Players can earn Spectral Shards, currency unique to this season, exchangeable for special items and rewards.
