Streamline Studios is pleased to announce the launch of the HoopWorld web site at www.hoopworldgame.com. Helping to kick things off, Streamline Studios is also making available the first series of assets supporting this unique Xbox Live Arcade title so players can begin to get a feel for the game prior to its release next spring.
HoopWorld is a first of its kind 'trick-based' game where players can get their game on competitively or cooperatively with others from around the world. The game features a diverse cast of characters that players can choose from and supports up to six players in a three-on-three multi-player setting. It's all about tricks in HoopWorld the more showboating and tricks you and your team mates pull off, the more you are rewarded. It's all about how cool and skilled you are... or can be! Inspired by the sport of basketball, HoopWorld is an over the top arcade game that challenges players to basketbrawl!
At launch, the web site features product information, a forum area to help foster community and a download section which features early assets. More content will be added to the site leading up to the game's release. The game is being developed by Streamline Studios, and is scheduled for a spring 2006 launch on the Xbox Live Arcade.
