The #StayHuman campaign, including content creators from the UK, invites us all to reflect on the essence of humanity as we approach the launch of Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Wrocław, Poland — February 1, 2022 — To commemorate the launch of its latest game, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Techland has launched a new campaign this week to invite fans and followers to reflect on the essence of humanity and what it means to #StayHuman.
The campaign, which includes the participation of thought leaders, artists, journalists and figures from online communities around the world, raises that question “What does it mean for you to #StayHuman”, and invites everyone to share and explain their own views.
From the UK, the campaign involves several leading content creators such as the YouTuber, MrRoflWaffles. Answering the question of what staying human means to him, he discusses how certain books, playing guitar and prioritising his health have all helped him to #StayHuman this year in particular.
Stephanie Ijoma, founder of NNESAGA, a platform advocating for better diversity and inclusivity in the gaming and entertainment industry, was part of the campaign too. She explained that an essential part of staying human for her is to “get rid of the toxic behaviour, get rid of the old bad habits” and to embrace the best version of herself.
Gaming streamer and YouTuber Snedger also shared his opinion on the topic, focusing on the strength of humanity’s persistence and resilience. He explained that for him, our ability to push through in the face hardship is a key part of what it means to #StayHuman.
Another participant in the campaign was Arekkz, a popular UK-based YouTuber who produces gaming-focused content every day. He discussed how a sense of compassion for one another is integral to his view of humanity: “taking the time to listen … having compassion for your fellow humans is another important part of being human.”
