WHAT: MapleSEA releases the first of the series of new characters in its Season 2 content update – Demon Avenger!
The Demon Avenger is part of the Resistance Force. Though he has many similarities to the Demon Slayer (Both of them belong to the Demon Class), he uses a new weapon called a Desperado and a Force Shield as his secondary weapon.
Another difference from his counterpart is that the Demon Avenger is a HP-based character, which means that his damage and skills are all dependent on the amount of HP that he has. Every stroke that he unleashes will utilize his HP and the damage that he is capable of depends heavily on the amount of his HP too.
The Demon Avenger also uses a new skill system called the Exceed Skill System. When he uses special Exceed skills, he will become stronger and faster, but at the same time, his HP recovery will reduce. Furthermore, these special skills also consume a huge amount of his HP, therefore, it is a constant challenge for the Demon Avenger to maintain the balance between having enough HP while dealing out decent damage.
