Czech solo developer KUBI Games today released Tourney at the Bear Rock, an expansion for its medieval action-adventure game 1428: Shadows over Silesia. This new content brings players into the thrilling world of medieval tournaments, with the atmosphere showcased in the previously released trailer - https://youtu.be/mPBAp8M7zDo.

The new DLC takes place in medieval Moravia at Pernstein Castle in the year 1409, where knights have gathered to honor the beauty and virtue of Lady Magdalene, the daughter of the castle lord. Young Hynek is not just one of the many competitors seeking to prove his skill—he has a secret mission and personal goals. He hasn’t come just to compete, but to win and to uncover a conspiracy, regardless of the risks to his honor or safety.

Players can look forward to not only a new story and characters, but also puzzles and challenging trials that will test Hynek's abilities. "The DLC is not just about fighting on the tournament grounds, but also about the intrigue and secrets that players will uncover along the way. It's got everything players loved about the base game and more," said the developer. "It is also an excellent entry point for new players. The DLC promises a generous play time of approximately five hours.

The developer continues to refine the base game, with more updates planned. "My goal is to give the game a final balance pass, shorten some of the longer sections, and improve weaker areas to make the player experience as close to my vision as possible," he says.
