Vivendi Universal Games and 20th Century Fox Partner to Bring Multi-platform Adventure Video Game Featuring the Lovable Characters from Fox’s Upcoming Feature Film, Ice Age 2 The Meltdown to Families this Spring

LOS ANGELES - December 16, 2005 - Vivendi Universal Games ("VU Games") announced today that a video game is in development based on 20th Century Fox's upcoming family film, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown Video Game will be available in stores this Spring 2006 for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCubeTM, Nintendo DSTM, Game Boy Advance and PC. Ice Age 2: The Meltdown Video Game will carry an MSRP of $19.99 for PC, $29.99 for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance and $39.99 for console products.

About Ice Age 2: The Meltdown Video Game
The Ice Age is ending and our subzero heroes return in this action adventure video game set in a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. Manny the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth and Diego the Sabre-Toothed Tiger are back and realize that the melting glaciers will soon flood their valley. With the help of everyone's favorite sabre-toothed squirrel from the first movie, Scrat, help your big friends cross the perilous landscape to safety.
Scrat will dig, swim, sniff, spin and roll his in his never-ending quest to collect acorns. In the process, he serves as the unwitting hero in the quest to save the land from a giant flood.

Since its record March North American box office opening in 2002 of $46 million, Ice Age has gone on to gross $381 million worldwide in theaters and 25 million worldwide in DVD/VHS sold to-date.
