London, UK - October 24 2024 - Prepare for terrors beyond your wildest imaginations - or indeed, terrors entirely from your imagination in Monster DNA, an upcoming Psychological Horror title developed by CH757 and Key, and published by Super Rare Originals.
First revealed during today’s Indie Horror Showcase, Monster DNA is a single-player psychological horror game where you create deadly monsters and abominations for mysterious clients. But beware… your work might be the death of you. In this twisted lab, survival depends on your wits. One wrong move, and you could perish to your own creations.
This man-made monstrosity will be launching on PC in 2025, but you don’t need to wait long to conduct your first diabolical experiment of creating horrifying life with your own hands. Monster DNA will be participating in Steam Scream fest - Steam’s annual spooky celebration - taking place from October 28 to November 4, where they’ll be showcasing the game’s first demo.
And if you can’t even wait that long, we have even better news - you can play that demo for yourself right now via Steam.
Monster DNA: Project Announce
Prepare to face not only the horrors of your own creations, but the consequences of creation - As you wrestle not only with your mysterious clients’ demands, but the very morality of creating such monsters.
In this fully immersive single-player experience, each and every playthrough has its own unpredictable tension, as you fight to avoid falling prey to your own creations. To add to the horror, you will be constantly working to meet each client’s unique challenges and motivations - keeping you on your toes at every step of your monster-birthing journey.
Originally launched as an itch.io title, Monster DNA launches as a vastly more substantial title in 2025 - featuring all-new spine-tingling content and bone-chilling game mechanics.

About CH757 and Key
CH757 and Key form the creative duo behind Monster DNA. They had previously collaborated together on Fred’s Cereal Company and Billy’s Game Show, both known for their unique, freaky horror style.
Monster DNA was born from a simple question: “Where do all those horror game monsters come from?” With a high demand for monsters, they envisioned a company responsible for creating and supplying them.
The project began as a 2D game, as creating and merging monsters seemed more possible in that format. However, it eventually evolved into the 3D version known today. The game’s visuals are inspired by Monsters, Inc., That’s Not My Neighbor, and a touch of Rick and Morty, blending dark humor with distinctive freaky monster designs.
