Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today announces the launch of THIEF - Deadly ShadowsTM on Java enabled mobile phones.

Developed by IOMO, you play as Garrett, master thief - rarely seen and never caught in this side-scrolling stealth adventure. Sneak past guards, pick any lock or pocket, and break into houses to steal precious items or whatever you can find in an atmospheric medieval city - with a huge arsenal of tools at your disposal including a mechanical eye, water arrows and gas bombs to name but a few.

Simon Protheroe, New Media & IT Director at Eidos said "THIEF raises the bar on the current stealth games available on mobile. We are starting to realise the full potential of what can be done on mobile."

THIEF - Deadly Shadows has 16 imaginative levels played over two episodes, for more information visit www.eidosmobile.com/thief .

THIEF - Deadly Shadows Episode 1 is available now.
