TMF will launch their new weekly gaming series "Game One" on Sunday September 25th 2005, live from the Trueplayerz charity videogame tournament event - being held at London's Marquee Club in Leicester Square. An exclusive screening of the first show will take place, whilst the TMF crew capture the day's events for a forthcoming show. As an added bonus all Trueplayerz competitors will be getting their hands on a limited edition Game One iPod case.

Trueplayerz, founded by British streetwear label Joystick Junkies, offers everyone the chance to play games, score great prizes and win cash for the charity of their choice. The events bring people together from across the country to play on the latest games whilst enjoying Joystick Junkies fashion shows, live bands, top DJs and much more. The unique concept behind Trueplayerz is that the winner of each tournament decides where the money goes.

The Trueplayerz events are being held at The Marquee Club in London's Leicester Square on Sunday the 25th September, Sunday 23rd October and Sunday 20th November. Players will be competing on some of the biggest new games covering action, football and driving and will be able to win top prizes including an 8 Mb one year broadband account from sponsor UK Online as well as games and other products donated by the UK games industry as well as the charity prizes

New gaming show Game One will air each Sunday at 3.30pm on TMF. The programme will review all the latest video games, provide tips and cheats for new releases and show exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. Hosted by Game One presenter Louise Ekland, the show will also interview celebrity gaming fans, as well as report on all the latest technology available in stores.

Doors: 10.30am

Daytime tournament: hourly heats from 11am-6pm

Grand Final 7pm and Awards 8pm

Entry: £5 to play in tournament, £3 for spectators (payable on arrival)

After Party: £5 (free entry to after party for competitors and spectators)

The event is open to all ages, however you will need proof of age to compete on some games
