Trondheim, Norway –October 14, 2024– Independent game development studio Itchy Games has announced that the demo version of Tomb Stalkers is available now in the context of the Steam Next Fest until October 21.
Tomb Stalkers is an immersive game where players explore the lost city of El Dorado to recover its ancient treasures, dispatched by the British Museum. As you navigate the city, you must collect keys and relics to progress through levels while facing enemies, including the sorceress and her minions, each with unique abilities.
The game features a cooperative mode for two players and offers 25 levels across five scenarios, along with three gameplay modes: Arcade Mode for achieving high scores, Original Mode for earning coins to unlock characters and gallery content, and Survival Mode, which presents a challenging one-life experience.
Players can choose from eight characters, each with various skin options, and enjoy a gallery that includes concept art, 3D models, and the soundtrack. The game supports both keyboard and gamepad controls.
The updated demo version includes upgrades such as:
Enhanced game general performance.
Enhanced visuals in several areas.
Enhanced highlighting system, more clear and less invasive.
Stages and other game scenes (Continue and Stage Clear) feel more alive with details/props, several of them interactive.
Improved game control system.
Pause menu can be controlled only by the player who invokes it (before only player 1 interacts with the pause menu).
Added navigation controls context in the main menu (using keyboard or any kind of gamepad).
Removed feature: join Second player any moment in the game (via local or Steam Remote Play) due to control assigning issues.
Number of players must be set before beginning the game, also joining via Steam Remote Play.
