The UK Online sponsored charity gaming tournaments are now part of the official Xbox Live Calendar and launch this Sunday 13th November followed by Sunday 4th December.
With the addition of the Xbox Live Trueplayerz events, gamers from across the world can now compete for prizes and cash for the charity of their choice. Whilst the Trueplayerz team are preparing for the next real world event on Sunday 20th November at London's Marquee Club, Last Man Standing, one of the UK's leading tournament organisers will be co-ordinating this Sunday's Xbox Live event starting from 2pm.
The first Xbox Live Trueplayerz tournament will take place on Halo 2 from 2pm with the winner scoring $100 for themselves and $100 for the charity of their choice. There will also be Joystick Junkies t-shirts for the runner's up. Members of the Trueplayerz team will also be on hand to answer questions and promote forthcoming events.
Whilst the action is going on, Paul Gordon's Game School team will be running a separate training room with Brit pro-gaming royalty 4 Kings who will be leading a tips & tricks session on Halo 2 for newcomers who must be ranking 10 or below to take part. If you would like to join this event check www.joystickjunkies.com/trueplayerz for more information.
