London, UK- 18th October, 2005 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announced that it will publish Faces of WarTM ( previously named Outfront II) a World War II squad-based, real-time strategy game for the PC. Faces of WarTM is developed by Best Way, developer of Soldiers: Heroes of World War II and will be available in March 2006.
"With Faces of WarTM, Ubisoft is bringing an intensely exciting title to PC gamers," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "The game brings an enhanced human and emotional element to the World War II genre and delivers breathtaking detail and spectacular game play."
Faces of WarTM thrusts gamers into the decisive battles of World War II in Europe. Players command American, English, Soviet and German troops while fighting famous conflicts such as the Normandy Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge or the Battle of Berlin in shocking detail. Thanks to complex artificial intelligence, soldiers don't simply execute any order given by a player, they think about how to do it in the most efficient and safe way. Faces of WarTM takes combat gaming to a new level by integrating a psychological element.
