Wrocław, February 14th, 2022 – After a successful release of Broken Ranks, it’s time for the first event for players. The dark world will temporarily be filled with love and joy, and players will be able to earn special rewards not available outside of the Valentine’s Day event!
In many places in the game, special characters will appear that will have a set of tasks for the players. Once the tasks are complete, they’ll be able to participate in the Valentine’s Day party, but then events unfold…
“It’s the first of many recurring events that are an inseparable part of Broken Ranks. We have a lot of them up our sleeve and hope that they’ll make the game more attractive. We’re also preparing more surprises and a roadmap for the coming months that we’ll soon be able to share with our players”, says the founder of the studio, Krzysztof Danilewicz.
Whitemoon Games, a game development studio from Wrocław, recently shared a couple of statistics related to the first week after the release. The game gained almost 100,000 new players and 25,000 players are logging in on average every day. Polish players constitute the majority, but the game also has many admirers from Russia, Brazil, France, Germany, and the USA.
“Although the launch was similar to other MMOs, meaning server problems, we’re very happy. The number of players who decided to try our game exceeded our wildest expectations, which was a pleasant surprise. The hardest part is still ahead of us. We need to keep the servers populated and work on future updates.” - dodaje Danilewicz.
Broken Ranks is a successor to the MMORPG The Pride of Taern. It boasts a unique, turn-based combat system and a vast world seen from an isometric view. The title is reminiscent of such classics as the HoM&M series or Baldur's Gate. Adventurers will be able to find a lot of story-driven quests and a vast, interesting world ready to be explored alone, in a group, or with guildmates.
