WHAT IS WORSHIPPERS OF CTHULHU?
In Worshippers of Cthulhu, you lead a fanatical cult with one goal: to awaken Cthulhu, the Great Old One. This city-building and strategy game combines resource management, deep narrative, and dark rituals, set in a chilling Lovecraftian world.
Take charge of the cult of Cthulhu and awaken the Great Old One as you build religious structures, sacrifice your followers, and colonize islands. Craft offerings to gain knowledge to unlock new technologies, care for your followers’ needs to ascend them to greatness, and summon demons.
CITY-BUILDING IN A WORLD OF MADNESS Build cities across multiple islands, managing resources and production chains to support your cult’s growth. Ensure your followers stay happy and connected while adapting to the unique challenges of each new island. DARK RITUALS Perform dark rituals to reshape your followers. Carve symbols on their bodies to alter their specializations or burn them in rituals to gain favor with Cthulhu. These sacrifices increase your Fanaticism scale, which, when reaching key thresholds, grants powerful bonuses. Additionally, summon demonic entities by sacrificing followers, commanding these beasts to fight alongside your cult
