Havok has announced that its 3D game engine, Project Anarchy, now includes Scaleform, Autodesk's popular UI software. The net result of this is that developers working in Project Anarchy can now make full use of Scaleform to deliver 3D game menus, HUDs, animated textures and in-game video more smoothly on iOS, Android and Tizen platforms. "Project Anarchy was created to give mobile developers a complete solution for all aspects of the game development process, and Scaleform is the perfect addition to round out that package," Havok's head of developer relations, Ross O'Dwyer, says in a statement. "We saw demand for an improved UI system and we're happy to be able to deliver it." Havok has also announced that it is running a $100,000 game development challenge for mobile developers using the Project Anarchy software. More on the contest can be found here.
