Game development tool vendor Hansoft announced that Black Lantern Studios (Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine, Little League World Series 2008) has successfully implemented Hasnfoft's project management and QA solutions across its team. Hansoft's software is used by a number of studios, such as Ubisoft Paris and EVE-developer CCP, for collaborative scheduling, task tracking, instant communication, Agile, QA / bug tracking, resource usage, portfolio, and document management. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Springfield, Missouri (with an office in Austin), Black Lantern Studios primarily develops titles based on licenses for Nintendo DS and Wii, such as The Wonder Pets!: Save the Animals! and John Deere: Harvest in the Heartland. "Hansoft’s ease of use and common sense approach to interface and project scaling makes it an invaluable tool for any game developer or publisher, regardless of the number or size of projects being tracked," says Black Lantern Studios senior producer Philip Cohen.
