League of Legends developer Riot Games is using Hansoft's self-titled project management tools for its agile development pipeline, the companies announced today. Hansoft, currently in version 6.0, describes its product as an "integrated solution for agile and lean development," and says Riot chose its product after evaluating other similar ones. "We were searching for a project management tool that is user friendly and flexible enough to handle agile development and pipeline workflows, while providing the depth of reporting we need at Riot Games, to give us insight into progress from a detailed project and high-level program view," says Riot development director Mark Franz. Hansoft features pipeline and workflow editors with reporting tools, bug trackers and workload management interfaces. It's designed to help developers manage projects and keep on time. "I look forward to an ongoing relationship with Riot Games and hope to be able to support them shipping many high quality games in the future," says Hansoft CEO Patric Palm.
