Middleware company Mogware announced that Salt Lake City-based developer Smart Bomb Interactive (Snoopy vs the Red Baron, Bee Movie Game) licensed Mog Complete, Mogware's automation toolset, for its proprietary game development engine. Mogware's products help automate a team's workflow and remove many of the mundane, manual tasks that often lead to human error. The company's technology works across a variety of commercial engines ass well as in-house proprietary engines. Mog Complete is a team-centric automated asset pipleline designed for multi-platform development with custom asset processing and lateral asset sharing. With the suite, repetitive workflow can be automated down to one-click events, an advantage for less technical team members. The suite includes FilHamster, a real-time revision control tool, as well as MogBox, a multi-threaded flowchart-style data processing chain built to help simplify complex data conversions. Smart Bomb develops for a variety of platforms -- home consoles, handhelds, and PCs. The studio's latest revealed title, Snoopy WWI Flying Ace, is a 3D action and flight combat game slated for the Wii and Xbox 360, to be published by Namco Bandai. "As an independent game developer with a host of proprietary technology, we are always looking for ways to improve our efficiency and increase the quality of our products," says Smart Bomb vice president Clark Stacey. "After our evaluation, Mogware was just that; a perfect fit for our asset management needs."
