I am writing a fairly short section of a book, a section about video game production. Some readers may know very little about it. One of the more difficult parts of that task is to describe programming so that readers understand what it's about.
According to tweetdeck, one of the trending:worldwide topics on twitter is 6 word stories. After the interesting results from my request for 6 word descriptions of game design (http://gamasutra.com/blogs/LewisPulsipher/20111103/8807/6_Word_Descriptions__What_Is_A_Game_Designer.php), here's my request:
Describe programming, or what a programmer does, or what a programmer is, in 6 words. Or 10, if 6 just doesn't cut it.
