Epic Games wants to help Unreal developers keep on top of bug fixes with a new public bug tracker.

The tracker has been given its own webpage, and lets devs check the status of known engine issues.

"No longer will you have to wait, wonder or ask about the status of an issue whenever one of our support staff or engineers reference a JIRA ticket number on the forums or Answerhub," explains a blog post

"With the new site you can now search for known issues by ID number, keyword description, affected engine component, affected version number and more."

Once an issue has been fixed, the tracker will automatically direct people to GitHib commit so they can integrate fixes into their codebase without having to wait on a binary engine release.

A voting system has also been implemented so creators can show Epic which problems require immediate attention.
