Hi-Rez Studios is immediately hiring a talented and self-motivated Technical Programmer to work at our studio in Alpharetta, Georgia.

What our Technical Programmers do:

Develop and augment systems built for user interfaces and data models in our games. Involves retrieving and displaying player and game information in a real-time environment. Interfaces directly with Unreal Engine 3, Scaleform, Windows, and platform-level software.

Who we are looking for:

  • Exceptional C/C++ design and programming skills

  • 4+ years of software programming experience

  • Experience with O/S level programming, including threading and networking

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in Computer Science or similar discipline (Math, Physics, CE or EE) or equivalent experience via professional game development

  • Team-oriented but self-motivated

  • Thrives upon change. Comfortable prototyping and working with iterative development process

  • Passion for games. Strong work ethic

  • Outstanding debugging skills

Preferred candidates have:

  • Gameplay programming experience

  • Visual Studio experience

  • Experience with Unreal engine

  • Knowledge of source control
