Newsbrief: Unity has announced the finalists for its 2013 Unity Awards, showcasing "some of the best and brightest professional and amateur talent within the video game industry." With over forty entries in nine categories, the titles span a number of platforms from iOS to console, with many implementing the Unity engine in vastly different ways. Several well-regarded indies including Cardboard Computer's Kentucky Route Zero and Amplitude Studios' Endless Space are up for awards in multiple categories, including the best-in-show Golden Cube award.
