Hello! I do apologize as it truly has been almost 2 months since I have last blogged! I am back and I'll be consistently blogging from now on! 1 of the main reason for that is because I have started on this new game titled - Code Ordinal Rise!

Code Ordinal Rise is a FPS (First-Person Shooter) RPG game set in an arena where you have to survive hordes and waves of oncoming enemies! So expect a huge variety of monsters each with their unique characteristic and behavior.

I have also decided to create Code Ordinal Rise in the low poly style. It's really beautiful and vibrant in colors. Apart from that, it is also lighter on the resources required to create models in the low poly art style.

A major reason why I have started crafting Code Ordinal Rise a month ago is because I wanted to challenge myself and up my game (no pun intended) in terms of crafting an experience for you that is both better in terms of visuals and gameplay-wise. With Code Ordinal Rise, what you see in the game are hand-crafted with Blender and then imported into the game to bring life to them.

To be completely honest, I have only started learning about the low poly style a month ago. Creating a monster and breathing life into it in this style with the animations is really fun and exciting!

And this also meant diving deeper into creating monsters with more intelligence and interesting behaviors. For example, with the Slime, my vision for them is to constantly bounce while chasing after you.

Another important reason for Code Ordinal Rise is that if I do not challenge myself and pick up new things, I will not grow both as a game developer/designer and a person. And that applies to basically all aspects of life.

Crafting a combat experience in the First Person perspective is also something new for me. Therefore, be sure to expect lots of changes and improvements over the constant updates for Code Ordinal Rise!

I will also be posting more often on Instagram and Twitter so look out for that! Also check out the new Code Ordinal Rise Facebook page!

Lastly, be sure to subscribe to the mailing list to be notified of when the next update is out! Cheers!
