Tecmo Koei promotes Warriors producer to software head

Tecmo Koei has promoted Hisashi Koinuma, producer for the company's Warriors series (e.g. Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors), as the new head of its software division.

Newsbrief: Tecmo Koei has promoted Hisashi Koinuma, producer for the company's Warriors series (e.g. Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors), as the new head of its software division. Koinuma is the boss for Tecmo Koei's Second Software Division in Tokyo, but he will now also lead the company's development divisions in Kyoto. Along with working on the Warriors games, he has served as a producer on Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage and Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition. He will be replacing Tecmo Koei president and CEO Yoichi Erikawa in that position, according to a press release (PDF) translated by Andriasang. Erikawa will continue to remain as president and CEO. These changes will take effect on April 1.
