Every week, sister iOS gaming site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad games, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Final Fantasy III and Angry Birds Rio earning top iPhone sales, while Sword & Sworcery EP and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 emerge as big sellers on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 sales charts, which is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone and iPod touch games are: 1. Angry Birds Rio ($0.99) 2. Tap Zoo (Free) 3. Angry Birds ($0.99) 4. Words With Friends ($2.99) 5. Tiny Wings ($0.99) 6. Smurfs' Village (Free) 7. Final Fantasy III ($15.99) 8. Zombie Farm (Free) 9. Kingdoms at War (Free) 10. Texas Poker (Free) Rovio's Angry Birds Rio tops iPhone game revenue for the second week in a row, with Tap Zoo and Angry Birds once again finishing at second and third place. Newtoy's Words With Friends overtakes Tiny Wings for fourth place, meanwhile, as Square Enix's recently released Final Fantasy III makes its chart debut behind Smurfs' Village at seventh. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad games: 1. Angry Birds Rio HD ($2.99) 2. Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP ($4.99) 3. Smurfs' Village (Free) 4. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 for iPad ($9.99) 6. Real Racing 2 HD ($9.99) 7. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 8. Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors HD (Free) 9. Infinity Blade ($5.99) 10. Contract Killer (Free) Cabybara Games' Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP finishes as the second-best grossing game on the iPad in its premiere week, while Rovio's Angry Birds Rio HD keeps its spot at the top of the charts. EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 also sees fast sales in its debut week, overtaking Real Racing 2 HD, Scrabble for iPad, and Big Fish's microtransaction-supported Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors HD.
