Former Zoe Mode (Crush) and parent company Kuju 's creative director Ste Curran has left the company after more than five years working there, to focus on a new volunteer project. Curran explained in a Google+ post that he has been recruiting for his new project, called Secret Crush, for over six weeks, and that it has become "something bigger than I anticipated." Secret Crush is a collaborative development project that Curran (also behind the acclaimed One Life Left gaming podcast) hopes will lead to himself and other volunteers creating unconventional gaming experiences in short spaces of time. "I want this to be fresh, exciting and fun, and the longer you spend on anything the more you lose those three things," he explained. He noted, "I am looking for a partner, for partners, and if the work we produce makes money - I do not expect it to make money but it is wise to be clear about this on the off-chance that it does - then that money will be divided between the participants." UK-based Kuju division Zoe Mode is best known for its work on franchises such as Singstar, EyeToy and Guitar Hero. The company confirmed earlier this year that it is working on a sequel to popular workout game Zumba Fitness.
