IT GlobalSecure, Inc., provider of advanced game security products and engineering services, today announced that it has released its SecurePlay Software Version 3.1 for Java, C++, and Python. SecurePlay is built from the ground up to stop many forms of cheating for online games and provides full interoperability between Windows, Linux, Playstation 2, Java, and other platforms and consoles. SecurePlay's design assumes that hackers have fully compromised all of the game and SecurePlay code and it still can protect against cheating. "Cheating and game hacking are only getting worse," according to Cheryl Campbell, President of IT GlobalSecure, "SecurePlay makes solving many of these security problems much easier." SecurePlay works for both casual and hardcore games, for everything from backgammon, lotteries, dice, and cards to First Person Shooters, Real-Time Strategy Games, and Role Playing Games. SecurePlay can support this wide range of games because it is built on a series of basic game transactions - the building blocks for building multi-player and server-based games. "We started with a couple of basic transactions: fair random events, secret actions, and simultaneous play support", states Steven Davis, CEO of IT GlobalSecure, "Now, SecurePlay supports 17 different online transactions and we are adding more to make building online games even easier." SecurePlay provides standard single title licenses for games to support major corporate clients and independent developers. Custom licensing is available to support advergaming, skill games, tournaments, contests, and other portal applications where there may be a large number concurrent game titles. Partner licenses are available for third party developers. IT GlobalSecure's team has over 40 staff-years of experience designing and deploying advanced secure information systems. IT GlobalSecure holds US and worldwide patents for SecurePlay fair play protocols and additional patents pending. SecurePlay simplifies multiplayer game programming and protects network games against cheating.
