Publisher Majesco has announced a new Wii exclusive with Wonderworld Amusement Park, a 3D park with games, rides and prizes for a player's customizable avatar to explore, developed by Operation Vietnam studio Coyote Console. Majesco says the game, due out in summer of 2008, will be include 30 mini-games similar to those found in real carnivals, "re-imagined in the park’s five stylized fantasy areas." Players will be able to create and customize their own avatars with accessories won from the games. In addition to the single player experience, Coyote Console, whose DS Operation Vietnam title was previously published by Majesco, have promised 4-player multiplayer games as well as playable rides within the park. Said Majesco CEO Jesse Sutton, "In summertime, nothing is more synonymous with family fun than a day at an amusement park. In Wonderworld Amusement Park, we bring this sense of excitement and adventure to the Wii with four player support that enables the whole family to play together. Only the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers let us reproduce the real life thrill of these games and rides from the comfort of the living room.”
