Today's pre-E3 wrap-up deals with middleware news in the wake of the official PlayStation 3 announcement, as well as rounding up job postings and outlining Gamasutra's E3 posting schedule. - Today's product news includes confirmation from Epic of Unreal Engine 3's imminent availability for Sony's newly announced PlayStation 3, as well as similar statements from Ageia regarding its NovodeX physics middleware, Havok about its Havok Physics and Havok Complete middleware, and the announcement of the OPTPiX iMageStudio image tweaking/creation graphics optimizer tool for the PlayStation 3. - Gamasutra will continue to post the latest game developer and business news throughout the course of E3, resuming daily wrap-ups on Monday. However, for daily features, the site will particularly concentrate on the sometimes overlooked E3 Expo conference program, presenting extended reports on the game professional-specific roundtables, panels and sessions, starting tomorrow. Also updated today: newly updated jobs from companies including Blue Fang Games, Bungie, Buena Vista Games, Electronic Arts Tiburon, LeapFrog Enterprises, NCSoft, Perpetual Entertainment, and The Collective.
