Today's round-up includes the ESA's plea to Malaysian game pirates, as well as Eidos' official line-up for next month's E3 Expo, plus new product and job news. - The Entertainment Software Association has called upon the government of Malaysia to increase its efforts in stamping out software piracy. The country was recently placed on a "Watch List" of the most piracy-prone nations in the world by the United States Trade Representative. ESA president Doug Lowenstein agreed, saying "Malaysia is the primary source of pirated optical disc entertainment software in the world. Exports of pirated entertainment software produced in Malaysia have been seized in over 20 countries on five continents. The problem of production and export by optical disc factories in Malaysia must be immediately addressed." - Eidos has announced its lineup for games on display at E3 2005, and the list includes the next Tomb Raider game. Officially called Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend, the game will make its public debut at the show along side the rest of Eidos' catalog for the remainder of 2005, including Hitman: Blood Money, 25 to Life, and Commandos Strike Force. "E3 2005 marks the unveiling of the latest instalments of three of the industry's most successful franchises in addition to a first glimpse of two of the most iconic characters, Lara Croft and Agent 47," said Paul Baldwin, Vice President of Marketing, Eidos. - Also updated today: product news involving the new version of ClayTools for Rhino Software, as well as newly updated jobs from Amaze Entertainment, Blue Fang Games, and Laser Shot Inc.
