The Game Initiative has announced that the San Francisco Video Game Industry Job Conference and Resume Workshop will take place in Oakland, California on June 4, 2005 at Skyline High School. The event is designed for artists, programmers, designers, business professionals, musicians and writers looking to get into the computer and video game business. Early confirmed speakers for the event include Anthony Castoro of Electronic Arts, Mark Deloura, Manager of Developer Relations at Sony Computer Entertainment America, Aaron Loeb, Director of Business Development at Planet Moon Studios, Norma J. Crippen, Recruitment Specialist at Mary-Margaret.com, J. Epps, Design Director at Stormfront Studios, Cory Ondrejka, Vice President of Product Development at Linden Lab, and Derrick Aynaga, producer at Visual Concepts, among others. Additional speakers will be announced shortly. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with industry insiders, including game top recruiter Mary-Margaret.com, hiring managers from local game companies as well as network and meet with industry veterans.
