Collaboration Event Between Mahjong Soul and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl is Now Live

November 15, 2023 - Shanghai, China - The anime-themed Japanese riichi mahjong game, Mahjong Soul, has recently initiated a limited-duration collaborative event in partnership with the popular Japanese IP, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl, which is part of the globally recognized TYPE-MOON's Fate series. Four distinctly popular characters - Illya, Miyu, Kuro, and Gil - along with unique outfits for them, will be incorporated into this special collaborative effort. Moreover, the event will be enhanced with five exclusive decorations, a fresh take on mahjong gameplay mode, a unique collaboration-driven storyline, and a host of event-specific rewarding opportunities, all available for a finite period.

Collaboration Events

The eagerly anticipated collaboration event Holy Mahjong War, is set to take place from November 14th through December 5th, 2023 (UTC-7). As part of this unique crossover story, the newly collaborated characters - Illya, Miyu, Kuro, and Gil - inadvertently find themselves visiting the Mahjong Soul Shrine within the world of Mahjong Soul. This chance visit provides them with opportunities to engage with the original characters of Mahjong Soul at the mahjong table.

New Collaboration Characters

Four characters from the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl have been introduced into the world of Mahjong Soul, embarking on an extraordinary journey. Illya, an exceedingly well-liked character from the Fate IP series, was initially an ordinary 5th-grade student who was tricked by the Magical Ruby into becoming a magical girl. Miyu, another magical girl finds herself under contract with the Magical Sapphire. The bond that Illya and Miyu share surpasses all boundaries. Kuro, a tan character created by Illya, must kiss Illya to absorb mana, without which she risks vanishing. Gil, a half-incarnation of Gilgamesh and the Heroic Spirit of the eighth Class Card, possesses the Noble Phantasm, The Gate of Babylon, which holds an infinite number of Noble Phantasms.

New Game Mode: Battle of Incantation

Players now have the opportunity to revel in the all-new game mode: Battle of Incantation. This fresh approach disrupts conventional mahjong game regulations. Both hand discarded and drawn discarded tiles will be clearly visible to all participants. The total count of these two types of discards will influence the winner's points tally. By partaking in either ranked matches or Battle of Incantation clashes, players can amass event tokens. Once they reach specific token milestones, they will be eligible for distinct rewards.

New Collaboration Outfits & Decorations

The joint event also introduces The Prism Live Series Outfits available for each of the four featured characters from Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl. All four characters will be adorned in stunning stage attire. In addition, a variety of collaborative decorations are included in this update. These elements are inspired by and originate from the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl, including Winning, Riichi, Riichi Bet, Tile Back, and Tablecloth. This event promises to offer players a unique and exciting experience, where they can not only delve into the new narrative and cross-over characters, but also enjoy a distinctive mahjong gameplay experience!
