About "Muscle Ninja VR”

“Muscle Ninja VR" is a muscle obstacle course VR game developed by the indie game studio Marudice. Players take on the role of a challenger on the "Muscle Ninja" like “NINJA WARRIOR” tv show, navigating thrilling challenges like climbing at great heights and crossing narrow beams, aiming to reach the goal within the time limit.

Players can select from three difficulty levels: "Enjoy Mode," "Normal Mode," and "Full Real Mode." In "Enjoy Mode," the time limit is more generous and retries are allowed, while "Full Real Mode" requires players to clear all stages without falling even once.

The game is compatible with "Steam VR" and can be played on PCs with head-mounted displays (HMDs) such as the HTC Vive series, Valve Index, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3. Full-body tracking is not required; you can enjoy the game simply using the controllers that come with your HMD.

Experience the Thrill of VR

Set across four stages —mountains, skyscrapers, Tokyo Tower, and a foundry —players face various challenges, including hanging from bars like a monkey grip or swinging across platforms like on a trapeze. Players must overcome the stage’s unique mechanics and reach the goal button within the time limit. Using the grip buttons on the HMD controllers, players can grab handrails or walls and pull themselves forward. Be careful —slip and you'll fall! The intuitive controls offer a powerful and immersive experience.

Features Perfect for Streaming

Each stage includes dynamic commentary (available in Japanese and English), heightening the excitement like a TV show. Subtitles in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese can be displayed in both the HMD and on-stream. While players see the VR world from a first-person perspective, the PC monitor shows a third-person view. This can be broadcast in real-time on platforms like YouTube and Twitch, allowing viewers to watch the gameplay as it unfolds. You can also mirror the first-person HMD view on the monitor.

*Note: This game does not feature multiplayer or metaverse elements.

* The player character avatars (VRM) are provided by default, so no special preparation is needed. However, you can also use your custom VRM avatars, created in "VRoid Studio" or similar platforms, for gameplay (does not support FBX, GLB formats).
