FEBRUARY 21 2022 - Today, Armor Games Studios are delighted to announce that their highly anticipated titles Lumbearjack and Islets will both be releasing demos as part of the Steam Next Fest. Players will be able to get their paws (or claws) on their very first taste of both games from today.
The world of Lumbearjack isn't too far removed from our own. Populated by cute woodland critters who face the loss of their homes due to the looming threat of encroaching industrialism. However, this world has an unlikely savior, in the shape of a grizzly hero with a penchant for flannel.
Players will take control of Jack the bear in this colorful puzzle-adventure and embark on a mission to save the habitats of his forest friends. Recycle garbage, dismantle machines and factories, and slap some sense (sometimes literally) into the humans abusing mother earth, if you can find the time.
Islets on the other hand, takes players to a whole new world, populated with floating islands and their eccentric inhabitants. Each island harbors its own mysteries, secrets, and bosses, but exploring is only the first step.
In this surprisingly wholesome Metroidvania, players will help Islet’s mouse hero Iko forge friendships with the world's inhabitants, as well as bring about connections between the islands themselves, linking the floating atolls to unlock new areas to explore. Can this unusual hero make this diaspora a little less disparate? [Continues below] 
Brand-new demos for LumbearJack and Islets will be available from today as part of Steam’s Next Fest event, running through February 28th. These demos allow players to get a first taste of what's to come in both of Armor’s exciting new titles!
Solo developer for Islets Kyle Thompson says, “I'm so excited for players to be able to try out a small sliver of Islets during Next Fest.”

LumbearJack and Islets will release later in 2022 with further launch details to come. Players can wishlist both games on Steam to be notified of their release.
LumbearJack will also be available on Nintendo Switch consoles at launch, via Nintendo’s eShop.

About Lumbearjack
Jack is a humble bear with a simple dream: to return nature to its former glory with the help of his trusty axe and his animal friends. Slice and dice through machinery, slap some sense into wasteful humans, and work with wacky woodland critters to thwart the sinister plans of up-and-coming industrial giant Evil Works.
About Islets
Iko is an aspiring yet hopeful warrior exploring the land and sky to reunite a series of floating islands. With his rickety airship, he must travel from island to island in order to reignite each one’s magnetic core while fighting off the many adversaries standing in his way.
Islets is a surprisingly wholesome metroidvania about making connections with the people around you. By reuniting the islands and befriending a cast of charming characters, the world expands and reveals new parts of each area for Iko to explore. Scour every nook and cranny in order to collect the many upgrades hidden around this world and face its numerous hidden challenges!
