SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, 24 FEBRUARY 2022 Wemade, a South Korean game development company that is a frontrunner in the blockchain gaming sector, announces that the company will participate in the Game Developers Conference (GDC) this year. It will be promoting the WEMIX platform at GDC to encourage game developers to collaborate with Wemade. Wemade will be attending the GDC as a Diamond Partner, joining top industry leaders such as Meta, Microsoft, AWS and Intel as one of the event’s six Diamond Partners who contribute to the success of the world’s largest professional game industry event.

Wemade will be participating at the event with 60 booths, the most for a Korean company, where it will be introducing attendees to WEMIX, Wemade’s own global blockchain gaming platform. The company will also be sharing updates across its various businesses and highlighting new games on the WEMIX platform. Additionally, Wemade will be providing an update on the state of the WEMIX business as well as sharing further developments around the WEMIX platform.

Wemade's CEO, Chang Hyun Guk (Henry), will also host a special presentation to introduce the WEMIX platform, as well as to attract US and global game developers to come on board. This is part of Wemade’s strategic plan to incorporate the blockchain economy into the global gaming industry, promote the Play-and-Earn (P&E) model among game developers and generate greater awareness of the WEMIX ecosystem.

“As a leader in the blockchain gaming space, we are thrilled to be a Diamond Partner at GDC. We’re excited to meet other like-minded game and blockchain developers from around the world to share more about the potential of the WEMIX ecosystem and discuss best practices. We believe that with WEMIX, game developers can better engage their target audience through the P&E model, allowing players to enjoy high-quality games and be rewarded with valuable in-game items,” says Chang Hyun Guk (Henry), CEO of Wemade.

GDC is the world’s largest game conference and is held from March 21 to 25 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA. For more information about the event’s programme and registration process, visit http://gdconf.com/
